girls' day out

Iris had a girls' day out with sweet Kaiden. They had a fabulous time playing with each other, running around outside, dining at the Shady Grove, and generally babysitting Mama and Auntie Suzanne (I understand the grown ups can be quite a handful!).

The girls both ordered hamburgers. Iris had hers with cheese, Kaiden ordered it without.

Did you see what that other toddler was wearing?? Ghastly!

The girls ended a busy, fun-filled day with a beauty bath, full body lotion massage, and clean diapers for all.

Before Kaiden's mom picked her up in the evening, Iris and Kaiden actually started to walk up to each other and give each other big kissy smooches, right on the lips! It was sooo cute! And of course, I didn't have my camera to capture these precious moments. Iris also became obsessed with feeding Kaiden goldfish, over and over and over again. Poor Kaiden soon had a mouthful of crackers and was munching away. We had to take the goldfish away from Iris, otherwise Kaiden's mouth was going to explode!

Spending a perfectly sunny day with a girlfriend...it doesn't get much better than that!
