Well, we finally did it! The tree is up with all its shining lights and pretty decorations. You had such fun examining each ornament & momma was happy to tell you the story behind each one.
Every ornament should have a special story...
Each year, since Andrew was a baby, Santa has left a little ornament in his stocking. Santa will do the same for you, sweetie. This race car was in Andrew's stocking Christmas of 2001. The hood pops up & the doors open! He was only 13 years old!
This is a tiny working nutcracker. It's little jaw really opens & shuts for those itty bitty nuts! Andrew got this little guy in Christmas of 1995, when he was only seven!
Christmas 1996 Santa left a sweet snowman with a cute button hat for Andrew. You just love those buttons, don't you?
And there are many more stories and ornaments, but we've got every Christmas to discover each one!
And here's the entire tree! Of course you can't keep your hands off it & it took me forever to get you to sit still long enough in the chair for me to snap this picture. Immediately after, you hopped off and grabbed an ornament off the tree!
Such fun in the days ahead! You are already loving all the houses lit up and we have so much planned...you're gonna love it!!
