With walking well under way, and with your obsessive interest in momma's shoes, I finally got the hint and made a run to Wally World to buy your very own walking shoes! I think you were quite happy with the whole outcome.

Baby's first shoes!

We picked out casual flats and strappy summer sandals. You loved the flower on the corner of the sandals and kept signing to me "flower! flower!" But the ones you first tested out were the flats. It was so cute to watch you.

At first you were very pleased to be wearing shoes & you kept pointing to my shoes and then your own. But you were a little wobbly in them until you got the hang of it. You were determined to find your place the world of shoes.

Soon you had the hang of it.

But you would periodically look down as you were walking to admire your new shoes.

Don't worry, sweetie. It's a girl thing. We all do that.
