tan lines and other stuff

Summer is officially here. I don't care what the calendar says, baby girl's got tan lines & that's all the sign I need. We've been hitting all the venues that promise lots of water, loading up on the sun screen, and hitting the waves (or splashes and sprinkles). Round Rock's Rockin' River was okay, but Cedar Park's Sprinkler Park was a big hit (and free!). So we'll be visiting there a lot this summer.

Iris loves the water & will get excited if she even sees her bathing suit.

Sometimes she'll find it and bring it to me. That's Iris being subtle.

In other news, Iris is learning how to open cabinets. Time to bolt things shut. She ventured into the food cupboard and pulled out the following, spreading everything all over the floor:

1. A bag of rice.

2. A bag of rice crispy cereal.

3. A box of oatmeal.

4. Two boxes of macaroni and cheese

5. Coffee filters

6. A roll of cabinet liner

7. And an apple?

I'm not sure what kind of dinner she was planning for us, but it sure sounded interesting.

Clean up was a delight, let me tell you.
