We had such a lovely first Easter. Princess woke up and squealed when she finally saw her Easter basket and soft bunny. She's holding the bunny in this photo - it's so huggable and super soft! The first thing she did when I put her down next to her basket, was to lean over and kiss her new little bunny. So sweet!
We went to the park to take pictures, dip our feet in the water, and enjoy the gardens. We also got to see tons of peacocks, which initially scared the princess (they scream like cats in heat!) But eventuall she was delighted and fascinated with them, forever pointing at them saying "Huh!"
Finally the day was topped off by a messy dinner at the Olive Garden. My sincerest apologies to the waitstaff who had to clean up after us, to the nearby dinner guests who had to listen to Iris "sing" throughout dinner, and lastly to anyone who witnessed me whipping my boob out in the car in the Olive Garden parking lot. Iris' fault again. She insisted on an after-dinner snack.
Happy Easter my little flower!

ReplyDeleteok, now I feel even dumberer. That was really easy. Now I'm going to go chew on my telephone cord to make me feel smarterer.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay Aunt Herbie. We still love you!
