baby's first christmas

.

Christmas finally arrived and Santa brought lots of goodies for sweet Iris and cousin Mason. Mostly she did not have a clue what was going on, but was very excited with all the commotion.

Mason is always so sweet and gentle with Iris. Here he is sharing a toy with her.

Before heading back home, we made a quick stop to visit with Aunt Herbie and the other two cousins Daniel and Ashley. Iris adored all the attention and made a new friend with Matthew.

At one point, Iris crawled up to Daniel, sat right next to him, and put her hand on his chest. He bundled her in a blanket and snuggled with her for a while.

Baby's first Christmas was wonderful! She sampled some of the baked and cooked goodies and loved her new toys. Most of all, she loved all the adoring attention - and just blossomed in the glow of the holidays. Christmas day she got a little sick and ran a fever for about 24 hours, but she's fine now. Brother Andrew was a sweetie, and got Iris a snugly teddy bear that she just loves. Grampy and Nanny got baby girl the coolest ball pop-up machine thingy ever! Very cool! Santa left a stocking full of rubber duckies, and a toothbrush just for big girls. He also left her blocks and a toy that she can hammer on.

I love you Baby Girl and Merry Christmas!
